Dropped below freezing last night here near Pittsburgh... Yep, lines frozen! Ran the furnace for about 1/2 hour and all was fine thank goodness... I was inpressed to feel the hat water was still flowing luke warm at 8AM after I shut the power off at 8PM last night to the WH...

Hopefully this is the last cold spell!

27 right now (9AM) winds from the NW gusting to 30. Yesterday I dumped all the water back out and filled the lines with antifreeze they said the low might be 12 over night glad I did! 82 the week before that's nuts.

a lot of people jumped the gun this year because of one warm week, i know i live in ny and i know its still march, i also knew the cold would return, as it always does, so i left my trailer winterized, and convinced my dad to leave his.....this is normal weather, last week was not.

I de-winterized a couple weeks ago as well, and enjoyed one heck of a fun camping weekend over St. Patrick's day weekend.

Yesterday I happened to have my coach in the driveway after returning from the factory to have new axles installed. It got down to 25 here but nothing froze, as I set the furnace at 45 degrees or so and that was enough to keep everything from freezing.

The 10 day forecast looks safe, and I'm pretty hopeful that by then we are out of the woods.

We are also de-winterized and it got down to 28 here also. But, we just left the furnace on in the Sunline, so everything should be ok.

Usually if it's above freezing during the day stuff won't freeze unless it gets into the teens but antifreeze is cheaper then broken lines. Snow tonight snow/sleet tomorrow snow tomorrow night then snow/sleet again 50 by the weekend. Spring in Maine this time last year we had 18" of snow on the ground year before I went on a 50 mile snow mobile ride Apr.15th!
