anyone ever try and build a cheap deck for their seasonal camping rigs? i want something outside beneath my step, i dont want to spend a lot so i began to think two strong heavy duty pallets for cases of paper, then layered in 5 1/4 decking planks on the top and all around the sides...no one would ever know theyre built on pallets! seems like a legit idea to me for a small high and dry spot??? if the pallets rot in 5 years, i swap in new ones! anyone have other cheap ideas?

We had to have a specific deck "panel" at our seasonal: four 8' 2"x4"'s on 16" centers, 4' 2"x4" on each end, decked with 4'x8' sheet of 1/2" marine plywood. The 8' boards were cut down slightly so the frame ended up 4'x8'

Painted with deck paint they lasted forever. We had five of them to make a 8' x 20' deck. Stacked them up and covered them with a tarp in the off season.
