If you happen to be a Camping World President's Club member or now a Good Sam's Life member, well they have your email address.

Camping items for sale adds come often. Today was a very usual one. Here comes this add to confirm we still have a TT as our RV and low and behold they are sending a Sunline image.... I think this is right out of one of the brochures as Sunline Fan one time even talked about who the people where in the picture.

Any one else get this?

I must say it did bring a smile to my face seeing Sunline still alive in spirit used by other companies in their advertizing.

:) :) :) :)

Yes, that's the cover to the 1996 brochure, complete with Dale Zimmerman and his family!

I didn't get it, but I'm not on their e-mail list. My mom may have though, but they are gone for the weekend, so I'm not sure.

Jon is it a reverse photo or did Dale have a specially made Sunline with the door on the street side???????

The email was specific to the type of camping unit you have on your profile. Our ad email had a pop up photo since I had never updated that info.

So they picked a Sunline for a TT? Wonder if all TT owners ended up with the Sunline add. It has been so long ago since I entered that info I have no idea what I put down and if it asked for a brand of camper. However regardless of which TT we had at the time, it would of been a Sunline if they asked for a brand.

Was you PU in the add the same brand as the one you owned?

Sure looks like a Coleman/Fleetwood. Good question!

Camping World reversed the photo. The '96 brochure is correct. If you look at the decal on the rock guard or on the side of the trailer (the small Solaris one), it's reversed and can't be read.

I got that email last night too.

I thought it was the English version ... for the people that drive on the wrong side of the road. ;)

I have seen Jayco's in Australia with the door on that side but you could read the logo. I was inside a collegues Tabbert in Scotland last month and it's rather disorientating with the door reversed. Don't tell them it's the wrong side though or they might get rather miffed or a little pithy.

I got the ad myself yesterday.

Yup, Jayco has an Australian division, and they build them over there. Every month I think they receive a full shipping container of US parts to build them with, but I think they do use a lot of local components too.
