Calking shower pan & shower wall

In preparation for this weekend's outing, I noticed that some of the calk between the shower pan and the sidewalls is separating when I apply a little pressure on the sidewall. What is the best kind & brand of calk to make the repair?

I have used silicone in the house, but some swear by it, others swear at it. Silicone is not at its best in the situation you describe. It does not have the highest adhesive properties and I have seen it separate from the surface in a somewhat similar application on a sectional shower in my son's home. The problem is the kind of weight shifting that occurs on the pan while showering will simply break a silicone seal and you might not even notice.

Definitely use a bathroom/tub/tile type of caulk as it has the mold inhibitors needed in this wet and humid area. Otherwise caulk, and paint, especially the latex variety, is a great nutrient source for mold.

check your local homedepot for 3m 5200 marine adhesive/sealant, it's a white urethane based sealant and very good stuff,however it's a little pricy at around $11.00 a tube but you will never have to recaulk anything you caulk with it.there are only two types of caulk that I will use on my camper and they are urethane based or polyurethane based.our campers take alot of abuse being towed around twisting and flexing and the above products are the only ones that I have found to hold up to this abuse.
