Thought I had us on here but it was only in my head. We are on Site # 65 and will be there FSS. Expect to arrive Friday after the kids get out of school, aiming for the 5 o'clock time-frame.

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately we need to cancel for this year. Jill started a new job 3 weeks ago and she leaves for training in Wisconsin tomorrow and won't be back until late Saturday. We will miss all of you and hope to be back next year!

We were at Buttonwood over Memorial Day and the place is still looking great! Their kayak launch & livery service moved up river to near the Port Royal bridge -- not sure if it was already moved last year or if it that's really recent.

If the wine tasting folks are there, make sure to try their new "Happy Sloth" mango wine -- it is KILLER good!!

Hi all


I hope everyone one got back safely to home base. We got back from Buttonwood about 2:00 PM and as soon as I got unhitched I took Barb to a 3:30 Doctor's appointment. Sure enough she has a fairly serious ear infection so she is on antibiotics and pain meds Nurses really do make poor patients.


Bobby and Kathy you guys did a fantastic job it was great fun..

Bobby and Kathy - thank you for your efforts in organizing a great weekend and thanks for volunteering for next year; you made it look effortless and still stayed relaxed! We were (I believe) the last to leave this year and got home about 3 pm.

Thank you to everyone else for conversation, suggestions/ideas; and compliments and helping to keep an eye on our kids! They had a little more freedom this year than they've had in the past. They are a joy to us and we appreciated hearing from many of you on their behavior and actions, and how we are doing as parents.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year! We reserved Site 65 for Friday and Saturday night. Depending on when school ends next year, we may be adding Thursday and Sunday nights. Hope to cross paths with many members this camping season; safe travels to all!
