We are cleaning, organizing & fixing a few small items in our camper... outside compartment door catch broke, so we bought a few spares, in case this is a continuing problem. Also got some of that putty tape to seal the repair properly.
We've scheduled the systems check and body repairs for the first weekend in November. There's a small (3 inch) separation on the front bottom corner (doorside) where the previous owner whacked a table and pulled the extrusion molding loose and separated the fiberglass panel from the camper. Our RV tech friends at Team RV in Albany, Georgia (who were great in maintaining our popup) will be performing all the servicing.
We have a trip scheduled for the last weekend in October to a County Park campground near Tallahassee on Lake Talquin... our North Florida group's Annual Fall Bash. We won't need the camper again until Thanksgiving weekend... our OTHER group's getting together to celebrate one the member's 50th Birthday up at High Falls State Park near Jackson, Georgia. This gives our RV friends nearly a whole month to get the work done.
Our new tires SHOULD be in by the end of the month. I already received the 2 new rims to replace the ones damaged by our curb incident.
We have received ALL our parts to rehab the Hensley. I have decided NOT to repaint the hitchhead that bright orange color... they use a Allis-Chalmers orange tractor color and after I deal with the rust, I think I'll just use a nice Rustoleum black.
