Best Birthday Cake Ever! / Honeymoon Campground Recommendations (Lake George)

My fiancee got me the best birthday cake custom made!
My apologies...this post is way overdue (since our wedding is coming up in 9 days, we've been pretty busy!:-D) and I havent had the chance to be on the forum as much as I'd like to lately.

But I just wanted to share with eveyone the totally cool custom cake she had made for my birthday back in May, complete with a likeness of our sunny! For those who are wondering, the cake was a canolli cake with buttercream filling, and yes, it was as good as it sounds.

We will soon be off on our honeymoon (in the sunline, of course) and have our eyes set on the lake george area. If anyone can provide any recommendations on a quiet, private, quality campground for our honeymoon, we would really appreciate it! Need to make our reservation soon!!!

You surely don't want to tell us SOC members that you actually ATE that one of a kind creation!!?? That is the best-est gift ever! Congrats on having such a caring bride-to-be..you are bound to have a wonderful life together.
Now,some friends of mine vacationed at Lake George at a lovely park..will see if I can get some info to you. May I suggest 1,000 Islands for a trip..very romantic cruises out of Alexandria Bay and fantastic sunsets..many campgrounds there on the waterway..and night spots in town...just suggesting! Sorry we can't help you with Lake George. In NY state, we've only camped in wine country - the Finger Lakes - to be specific, Keuka Lake and Keuka Lake State Park campground, which is very nice. If you like wine, lakes, and pretty scenery, it's a great place to go! Congratulations!

Lake George Rv is where my friends stayed..check the website..nice reviews but very pricey right now..Lake George Escape Rv is an Encore Park and they are showing nice rate specials on their website...can't go wrong with either IMHO...JANALEE

One year for our anniversary my DH presented me with 1,000 cards!!....name cards,that is----with my Sunny printed on them along with my name,number etc.,to exchange when I was camping! Also a cool idea...However,I probably have 800 left and many different Sunnies since..lol...

My wife and I stayed here Lake George RV Park | Adirondack Camping | Campgrounds a few years ago. Very clean, peaceful, would definitely go back!
