I'd just ordered some standard Queen sheets from Bed, Bath and Beyond for the Queen bed in the T-250 SR. Then, while on a campground review site an ad popped up for "RV Sheets" ! Aren't the RV beds standard size?

RV matresses are slightly shorter.

A residential queen is 60" x 79", and RV Queen is 60" x 75"

We just tuck the excess under.

Thanks for quick reply ! I am glad I can still use them in the RV. And I DID think the queen bed seemed a bit shorter than the one in the house spare bedroom!

You RV mattress is probably not as thick as the one in your house either. Store bought sheets are made to fit the extra thick mattresses and will fit sloppily and bunch up.
I've found that the knit sheets (like t-shirt material) work well in the camper. I pull the bottom/fitted sheet tight, tucking the excess under the sides and foot, then use sheet straps on each corner to hold them.

Thanks. The previous owner had put a foam topper on it, perhaps for this reason (he left it for us). I've bought a thick cotton-top mattress cover which I will put in the dryer to shrink a bit. Hopefully this will make it the mattress thick enough to help with the problem.

I'm so anxious to get the Sunline fixed up with our stuff. But it is well below zero and windy here !!

Hi Deb,

The foam topper, that may be more for being able to sleep.... The bed Sunline put in is better then the normal RV camper bed. More springs, better quality, but it is still a camper bed. While I like hard to sleep on, I could not sleep on the straight bed. Cindy needs mush and for sure she could not either. We now have a 3" high quality topper and both sleep well. Some have also used a big thick feather type topper in place of the foam.

And some love to sleep on the rock as it is....LOL

The sheet thing, as said just tuck in the excess. However the looseness bugs Cindy big time. So she puts on these elastic straps across the 4 corners and then tucks them under. (they are sort of like a garter strap deal, do not know what else to call them nor does she LOL...) Then the fitted sheet actually fits tight. I asked where do you buy them? Well we have had them a really long time.... She said look in the sheet section.

Good luck.

John
