Axletek

I think I'm spelling that right.
I thought Sunline had always used Dexter axles, but the 2007 2499 we just purchased uses Axletek brand made in (where else) China. In fact, "China" is stamped just about everywhere, including the wheels. I don't know how they compare quality-wise to Dexter (I guess I'll find out at some point). I imagine the last owners of Sunline were doing some cost cutting?

Could the axle be connected to your shackle flip problem? Maybe a Dexter axle mount used to install Axletek so more care must be taken when jacking the unit? Maybe the springs were changed as well as the axles? Shorter springs, or something?

Ahhh, you're on the ball Jim, cross-checking posts!
You could be right, I hadn't thought of that.
Maybe someone can give measurements of their spring mount distances, spring lengths etc.
