Hi, I may be able to help.
Is your "entire" awning no longer available? We may be able to find replacement parts for the broken parts at a much lower cost than an entirely new awning.
An "entire" new awning comes with everything: all the vertical arms that support the awning, the roller tube, the roller tube end caps and springs, the awning fabric, and all the mounting brackets and hardware. Everything you need for a camper that never had an awning. I checked a few places quickly that sell an "entire" new Dometic 8500 Sunchaser 19 ft, and you may be in the $1,500 plus freight range, not including install labor, if you hire it out. Doing some hunting, this may be less, but maybe not less than $1,200 with tax etc.
Good news: If you still have some good parts of your original 2007 Sunline awning, hardware parts may still be available. The 2004 and older Sunlines and Dometic started down the discontinued parts route. Around 2005, the hardware began to change on the roller tube ends and the arms that mount on the camper.
I have had to repair a few of these, and so far, the cost of replacing only the damaged parts or fabric has been much less than the cost of the entire new awning.
We understand. Camper awnings have been broken before by many causes: wind, rain, rain into a building, and the list goes on. We don't judge you; we're just trying to help.
If you want to try the replacement parts route, we will need some pictures of what you have left so I can find the right parts. If you still want an "entire" new awning, let us know that, and I can find at least two good brands.
I hope this helps,
John
