There is a Transport 3075 for sale in the Orlando/Deland area that we may be interested in.

I just spoke with the owner (2nd) and he said there is a soft spot near the rear garage door, he thinks it might have had a leak at some point.....needless to say this would be a very long trip for us ....so I'm hoping one of our members might be in the area who can take a look at it.....just hoping!

Martin is going to email photos on Tuesday or Wednesday and if we like what we see....we may just be making a lifestyle change.....

If anyone would be willing to check it out, please email me at leokathy@frontiernet.net with your phone number and I will call you back.

Thanks!!!!!

You are going to post the pictures.... Right???

If I weren't so busy, I'd gladly go get it for you! It would be a chance to meet up with you two again and get Kitty out of the house for a while!

I have to figure out how to get the photos he sent me over here.....it is clean BUT you can see staining on the wall (I think).......

Can you tell me how to post them???? Or PM me your email and I'll send them to you!

Since Gary is at work, I can put them up for you if you'd like. I saw the CL ad and it sure isn't portrayed as having water damage...

Kathy,

"IF" it suits your needs/desires and the price would suit you, we have an excellent repair man near us. Depending on what the photos show, but then it is still hard to really determine the extent of the damage with out a first hand look. Sure wish I knew someone in that area that could take a look at it for you. Good luck with your decision,

Kitty

thanks Kitty & Jon....trust me Kitty I was thinking of your guy for the repair.......but need better pics and some non-biased input!

Here's the pictures of the T-3075...

The only thing I see, is where the flooring is raised up a bit on the right.

It could just be the top layer is spongy and he's describing it as a soft spot. If it's more than that, I would think that maybe the door/ramp seal might have leaked in that spot one time.

From what I can see in these pictures, I don't see anything that would be considered a deal breaker for me...

Hi Kathy,

This one pic, I do not know if this is glue on the wall or what. It shows up in some other areas too. What year camper is this? The maple may make it 2005 or a 2006.

It's a 2006, and probably a very early 2006 like Leo & Kathy's 1950 was, since it has the 2005 decals and '05 Country Blue Floral interior.

The glue stuff is a mild concern, but I think the wallboard would be very rippled if it got wet enough for the floor to rot.

thanks for the input everyone......Leo and I have some decission making to do here....you all will be among the first to know!

If anyone else has any comments please chime in......this trailer is 22-24 hour trip away and the more info we have the easier it will be for us to make a decision!

Jon, on 2nd look it has a front window. Was 2006 the model year they did away with the front window? Or is it on the fence of the last days of a 2005 and then into the full 2006's? That late spring time frame where you can get some next model year features in the prior year some times.

It appears to have a walk on roof or at least a partial walk on roof to get to the AC unit. See the ladder at the front

They did do away with the front window in 2006, but they built a small run in early 2006 that were built to 2005 specs. 2005 interiors, fender skirts, front windows, etc. They were in the 6000 VIN series, like they were leftover 2005 frames, but they were VIN'd as 2006 models.

This is sounding more of a problem than a solution...................I'm not happy with the window on the front....hate having my head get cold I really don't like the blue interior (blue was my favorite color at one point in my life....just not now).....and I can't find anyone in the Orlando area to take a peek at it......we'll make a final decision in a few days.

Jon if we do decide to wait for something closer and you find a 3075 could you let us know!

Will do!

I guess as a last resort, you could always try contacting Pat & Cindy. If they happen to be going that way for something or know someone in the area? I think they're ~2 hours away though, so it would be a lot for them to go look at it.

I even put it on FB and none on my family nor friends are close enough to take a look......
