Well, that Abby is sure a real looker. She is georgous. Is she as light cream colored as the photo makes her look ?

This is Bentley He is an Old English Sheepdog. We got him as a rescue about 3 years ago. This was last summer when we were camping at Lake Placid.

Well, that Abby is sure a real looker. She is georgous. Is she as light cream colored as the photo makes her look ?

Abby was exactly that color when I took that pic. By the end of our trip, she had darkened up quite a bit because of dirt particles in the sandy campsite. (She's not a swimmer so we waited to give her a bath until we got home. Abby hates baths so we don't do them away from home if at all possible. That way she doesn't have negative associations with places we love. Home is home; she gets over it there.)

Right now, her skin is beginning to lose pigment and her fur is beginning to darken with the approach of fall and winter. That's something that yellow labs do. In the early the spring, the opposite occurs.

He really is a good dog...........we've never had any problems with him.
