2018 Buttonwood M&G Events

This post is to start a discussion on the events people would like to do at Buttonwood and to entertain volunteers to help coordinate and run the events.

Please reply to this post if you would like to volunteer to coordinate & run an event or if you have an additional event you would like to plan and run.

Here's a list of possible events that have been done at past Buttonwood gatherings:

NOTE: All events are at the Group Tent Area unless otherwise specified

Friday

BYO - Bring Your Own Drinks and Bring a Desert to Share.
:arrow: Dusk - Camp Fire - Mike is providing Fire Wood again this year

Saturday

Give and Take Table instructions -
This is a way to rid yourself of those no longer needed but still useful items. You can bring camping items, but also anything else you think someone may be able to use. We’ve had books, CDs, tools, anything you’d find at a yard sale. (no clothing please) After the pot luck we all run back to our trailers and fetch our donations for the table. Then the taking begins. It’s all free. You just help yourself.
Please return to the table by 11:00 that same night to collect anything that belongs to you that hasn’t been taken. (usually the table is bare!)

Anyone interested in the river trip should meet at the tent by noon. We will leave from there. If anyone wants more info stop by site #54 and ask. Also you can let me know on Friday night.

Epilog....


Another great time with old and newer friends. Thank you, everyone. Both my son and I really enjoyed ourselves(mostly, that is...excluding 7-11 AM's rain today) . Now registered for site 87 for Friday night thru noon Sunday next year.

Hope for once again a fantastic job at being the MC of the Grab Bag event.

And finally for everyone that showed up and provided the great food for the pot luck dinner.
