Chuck, no. Had to reserve 3 nights and can't do with Labor Day plans. Will maybe try Fish Creek for one last trip in Oct. Is it open in Oct. Steve? Will have to check that out. Making a longer trip out of Buttonwood .. stops on way down. Ive's Run for sure. Watkins Glen little Clute town Park on way back.

back in action, finally!

I guess there has been some time we've been busy. I retired in April and all the fun work started. Since then we've had new floor covering put in the entire house including all the work needed to do so, we had new kitchen cabinet doors put in and recovered the existing cabinets, we had a new roof put on, and we had a new roof installed. We also put in a new furnace which died during the floor work. Its all about over now after the new counter tops go in and we are recovering by putting the house back in order. We went camping for Memorial day so far and that's all. we have 7 days coming up for the 4th after a two night stay at a local soccer field for a weekend ham radio function on the 24th.

We'll pick up where we left off real soon now! We are looking forward after the camping season to a 22 night cruise from Seattle to Sydney in October by way of Hawaii, Fiji and other exotic islands.

PS, I kind of like this being paid to stay home and not go to work!

Hello everyone! we're back and ready to get ready for September.

Sheri and I have been real busy this summer with the house. I retired on April 1 and need to find a job to get a rest.

Since April 1 we got new carpets installed throughout the upstairs, new vinyl plank (wood) flooring throughout the downstairs including the kitchen, dining, living room, bedroom, laundry and bathroom. We got new vanity's installed in each of the three bathrooms. We had new kitchen cabinets ands counter tops installed along with a new dishwasher, new furnace installed and a new roof. while we did all this I painted many rooms, and installed new floor base. This weekend I install a flagpole and new back door when it cones in. We're not selling but are ready when we do. We actually found a couple of weeks to go camping in between and we're getting ready for a 23 day South Seas cruise in October.

Ill be putting together a calendar for the big weekend and making a list of taken and available sites this week. Suggestions please for entertainment! We'll hold a coffee hour on Thursday for all who are there. This year the choice will include espresso or cappuccino from a Nespresso machine. That will be at 6 to 7 on Thursday evening.

Need activities for Friday afternoon, Friday evening, and Saturday afternoon. I'll plan the Saturday feast at 6:00 as last year just to be cleaned up by dark just in case.
