Hello all, Steve usually leads this bike ride, but due to his recent knee surgery, I will fill in as leader this year.
The ride gets started at 10AM on Sunday and we will head out to Port Royal, making a big loop through farmland. It's a scenic 11 mile casual ride for all ages (please make sure children are accompanied by an adult) and includes an old covered bridge. You will ride mostly on lightly traveled paved roads and we will be crossing the Juniata river bridge as we head into Port Royal on a walking path blocked off from bridge traffic. The sign there advises walking the bike. There is one hill that will require some leg and lung exertion, and a short run on the shoulder of PA 75.
The ride should take about an hour and a half, and is always a fun time.
Please bring water and a helmet is advisable.
Hope to see you there, we can meet at our site 81.

Here we are, helmets on and ready to ride Sunday morning!
We had a great time riding through the rolling hills of the Juniata valley, beautiful weather, some gusty wind at times, but nothing to take away from a fun time.
