Welcome and looking forward to meeting you & the pupster :D

You'll be in the heart of Sunline country so hopefully you'll be able to find a T-2499 for sale.
It seems to me that Stoltzfus RV has always been a strong dealer carrying a lot of Sunlines, so you may want to keep tabs on their web site. I know there's many people here on the SOC that are close to Stoltzfus that if you see something that interests you, I'm sure someone would be willing to go check it out for you.

Safe travels and see you in June

Thanks!

I do check Stoltzfus and Oodle, Craigslist searcher and the the larger RV sales sites.

IF I did see something I liked how would I find someone here to look for me? Without hijacking this thread. Would I post a new thread in the Sunline Community asking if anyone could look for me?

Starting a thread is probably your best bet.
We live 5 minutes from Stoltzfus, so would be happy to preview for you. Sunlines don't last long on their lot if they're nice though. People seem to know to look for them there. The other local dealer website to check is Gayle Kline in Lancaster. They used to carry a lot of Sunlines. Tom Schaeffer's in Leesport sometimes has some too, but they aren't big on advertising their used units even on their website.

Good Morning Everyone,

This is my second year hosting this event and it being the 10th year I would like to make sure that it is one to remember. Please start to make suggestions for activities you would like for this Meet & Greet.

As a side note, I will be having surgery on my foot on 3/31/16 or sooner. During my recovery I will be off my feet for 6 weeks which will give me time to devote to planning our activities. I will be going stir crazy.

For those of you that were not with us last year, here is what we did.
1. Thursday night: cake and coffee social at my site. Just bring your coffee mug.
2. Friday night: "Happy Hour" BYOB and munchies, followed by movie night with popcorn at the M&G site using my camper as a screen. Unfortunately I have no access to a projector or popcorn machine this year. We can return to having the ice cream social this night. campfire following. Suggestions please.
3. Saturday: morning trailer crawl, afternoon canoe/kayak trip, card and board games, Pot luck dinner, give & take table, chinese grab bag followed by a campfire.
4. Sunday: morning bike ride, check out for those leaving, dinner with leftovers. Campfire for those still there.

I will need volunteers to head up each event. Please let me know what you can assist with this year. I am hoping to be recovered enough by June to fully participate in our M&G. Roughly 102 days to go! I am looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting those that are new this year.

I think we are doing a munchie type of thing at the Adirondack M&G these days on Friday night. Our opinion (you asked!) is that it saves everyone from running back to their campers with half-melted ice cream and saves a sticky clean up. We can hang around and visit and continue snacking into the evening. Of course if anyone has their heart set on the ice cream social, just speak up! We'll do whatever !

We are bringing our kayaks as we have never been able to justify the expense of the Buttonwood rental and shuttle. Someone mentioned organizing our own trip since many of the club members have done the river trip and know the drill. We'd love to do that and would help in any way with kayak transport if someone could come up with a plan.

Quick healing Kathy !

Steve will lead the bike ride Sunday morning at 10:00. Same route as usual. I'll post a separate thread at some point.

I'll make the signs and posting about the Give & Take Table . Timing seems to work best after Saturday's pot luck. People can finish eating and go back to their campers for their give away goods. Also, that way we aren't tying up a table during dinner.

Good luck with the surgery!

We will bring out kayaks also.....hoping someone will organize a river trip!

And munchies work great rather than melted ice cream.....

Speaking of kayaking, we are spending 4 nights at Ives Run before Buttonwood and a couple nights at Clute (Watkins Glen) after. Ives Run will be kayaking trip, not sure about Clute.. sight-seeing perhaps. Anyone wanting to make use of their kayaks, please consider joining us. Hutch and Mary have given us tips on Ives Run and it sounds really nice ! Will start another thread if anyone has an interest in this.
