Second Annual New England Meet and Greet. Quechee State Park, the second weekend of August 2015 (Friday Aug 7 -Aug. 8 and any extra days you'd like to book). This park is on Rt. 4 on VT/NH border, and easy to reach from I-91 and I-89.

Reserve here - Vermont State Parks - Reservations
You can sort the available sites to find ones that will accommodate larger rigs. Also, you can see photos of individual sites. Please consider the sites toward the back of the park as Route 4 is a busy road and there is traffic noise in the front of the park. Let me know if you need guidance or advice on things to do in the area.

We've reserved the Birch Lean-to which is a large site and should accommodate our group. Sites on that loop are very spacious.

We can plan a pot luck, outings, etc. as we go along. Post here if you've reserved a site, listing your dates, number of campers, and your make of Sunline or other travel trailer. Everyone welcome, not just those from the New England states and other brands of trailers are welcome of course!

Just a reminder about this! Lots of good sites available. There is a lot to do in this area as it is near King Arthur Flour, several excellent museums, Dartmouth College, etc. Let me know if you have questions.

Hi Deb,
That Corps of Engineers campground was fun for us. Sure, lets try to get together there......a little later. Vermont is a beautiful state.
Just got to Florida a couple weeks ago and don't intend to head home quite yet. We were headed for La but the weather dictated a more southern approach to it.
All the repairs I did last fall to this camper are working wonderfully. Thanks again to all those that helped me get thru the tear apart and rebuild.
Talked to a Que owner from Ontario the other day who was unaware of SOC. He knows all about it now.
If there are any Sunliners in the Ruskin area or north and want to hook up, lets try. Maybe there should be a mid winter southern meet and greet.

Does anyone have a problem with moving this to the following weekend - Aug. 7-8? Our family reunion date has been moved to this weekend.

It should be fine with me. I haven't booked yet. I need to wait and see about something that could possibly impact me being able to attend this year. I hope to know soon. Will take it from there. I really hope to be there again this year. Enjoyed everyone and the Park and local attractions last year!

Ok, I changed it to the following week. Wanted to reserve the lean-to so I hope this works for everyone....

Mods? Could someone please change the first post to read second weekend..... Aug. 7 - Aug. 8 ? Thanks!

Done. Let us know if you need more. One of these days, we will make over your way. The R word is becoming in sight...

I just looked at the Quechee site and there are still some good sites available. If you want a quiet and spacious site consider the "teens". We stayed on 13 once and it is huge! Those sites tend to be quieter as they are well back from the main road.

Would love to welcome new Sunline owners to join us. I see some from the New England area or nearby states have joined this site recently. Any questions, just ask !

Off on a week-long camping trip. Thought I'd put this up as a reminder and in case any of the new members have an interest. Still some good sites left. Can't believe it is mid-July already !

We have booked our sites and are looking forward to the weekend. Quichee is an interesting area with something for everyone.
This is a wonderful opportunity for those of you who have not been able to make a Meet and Greet before. Sunline campers with Sunline owners all in one spot and talking about Sunlines (some other stuff too). What could be better!

Will look forward to seeing you !! We are over that way now, camping in Killington. Kids have a rental with Wifi on Echo Lake so I got a chance to log in. John and Polly, the kids went to Simon Pearce in Quechee yesterday to see the glass-blowing. If you did not see it, do try to make it there this year! Will be in touch !

Deb and Tom

Waiting to hear back on dates I may have go to Canada that weekend for an event.
Hope you can make it !! It wouldn't be the same without you! Thinking we might brainstorm about another location for another year and would love your input!

Oh yes not once but twice we went to see the glass blowing those guy are real artists. Next time we are there it's going to be dinner at the Pearce's!

It's an amazing place. I hear the food is excellent, but we have yet to go there. Also of interest is VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Science) which is within walking distance of the state park. They rehabilitate birds of prey and it is very interesting to see the birds up close. Bald Eagles, owls of all kinds, etc. They do programs several times a day and you can also watch the birds being fed.
