Welcome - looking forward to meeting you guys.

I've added you to the list of attendees.

See you in September.

I just recently found this drone video of the Southwoods RV resort and I thought I would post it here for everyone to see and for anyone who was thinking of joining us and wanted to know what the park looked like:

Now that is funny! We invite a Sunline owner just visiting last year and they are one of the two!!!!

OK so we may have to have a trailer crawl - see all the new rigs!

I'll be glad to organze a trailer crawl. Anyone interested in showing their rigs and modifications? Say, a walking tour a couple of hours before the group dinner, 5 to 10 minutes at each stop. Let me know and suggest a time.

I think the group pot luck dinner could be in the new Eagle Premier. Bring chairs. Set up opposite the band around the dance floor.

Looks good Tom and Mary.

Morning, all!

I made an error on our site number. we will be on B18!

We were at Camping World getting our camper inspected, and decided to take a tour of the campground, since it was just a few miles away. We were greeted by a gentleman named Paul in the store. He was so nice, and helpful. He corrected me on our site, and encouraged us to drive around the grounds to check things out. I'm glad I was wrong about the site number! The correct one is a really nice site in the trees, and still close to the group. Being newbies, and not having seen this, or any other campgrounds, from a camper's view for that matter, we were very impressed with this campground. Lou is on the quiet, shy side, and even he is getting excited about this M&G!

Anyway, we got the camper all squared away, and are ready to roll! Our trip to Maine may be being bumped up a week, as Lou's mother was hospitalized with Sepsis. Boy! What a scare that has been! Thanks to lots of prayers, and Mom being a "tough old bird" as Lou says, she is slowly improving. It's pretty tough being 7 hours away from her in a situation like that, but we have family very close by her to be our eyes and ears.

Thanks for letting me write a book this morning, and get stuff off my chest. It is nice to feel that I can do that here. You all have made us feel very welcomed, and considered friends.

Hope everyone has a great day! :)

Kathi - sorry to hear about Lou's mother - hope she has a speedy recovery!

Paul (at the campground) is a great guy - he used to work for the Old Forge camping Resort (in my home town) and we met him there (both Leo and I are on the ambulance corp) - Paul would always meet us at the gate and get us to the patient the quickest, easiest way - he is missed by many of us here. Our first year at Southwood's we hear "Well if it isn't Old Forge visiting us"!! Yup it was Paul.....glad you will be joining us!!!!

Just found out that the family business will be having a 100th anniversary dinner the same night as the group dinner. Sadly, we can not attend the group dinner and grab bag event. We still will have offerings for both events. See everyone there.

Steve & Diana will be there from Thurs-Sun. They gave us site M26. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. 2000 Sunline Advancer

Hi Steve & Diana.
Glad you will be joining us. We will be in on Thursday night also. Looks like this years event will be well attended. Looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up. Hope we can squeeze in a trip to Camping World again this year on Saturday morning.

Anyone else interested in a trip to camping world on Saturday morning? Not far from Southwoods. Let us know.

We'll drive if anyone wants to ride!

Camping World is tempting but I'd end up buying a lot of stuff I didn't know I needed until I got there. Sheri want's to set our GPS for Wegmans in Brockport then maybe the Jello Museum. :p How's Fullerino's? They have a great rating. We'll have 7 days to explore after 4 days on the Sacandaga River.

Henry and Karen just booked site B15 for FSS. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Just in case someone needs to cancel--perish the thought--let us know and we'll move a little closer to the main group.

So glad you're able to join us this year. We missed you last year.
Looking forward to seeing you again.

Not sure this is the place to mention this but I'll bring a 10 X 10 shelter, as I believe Hutch mentioned this may be an issue.
