Good evening all, I was just out exploring the internet for a wall clock that that came with my Solaris 1950 that doesn't work anymore and I found this page. I've been going over the different links and this is great. I love my sunline and did not know until reading some posts that the company is no longer there.

Well I just want to say hello to all, I have a 1999 T1950 which is great for just my wife and I. I was just out looking for a clock for it when I tripped over this site. The dealer I bought it at says they don't carry them. We do the majority of our camping at Raymond B. Winter State Park in central PA just east of State College, PA. It is a great campground. I saw pics of that 195 SR I believe with the slide room and I'm already looking for any sales of that. Hey happy camping to all, only 3 weeks till Memorial Day.

Hi Dave,

Welcome! I asked a while back about if I could order an original Telesonic clock (which is what I assume you have) and I was told that you can no longer get them. Many units now use expensive Howard Miller wall clocks, no matter if it's a TT, FW, or expensive MH.

Those 195SR's are nice, but very rare. There were only 22 made. I only know of two available right now, one is the prototype at Butler RV in Butler, PA, and the other I can't remember.

Check out the 2008 Eastern M&G in Mexico, PA!

Thanks for the reply Jon, that is what my dealer told me that the clock was not available anymore, which kind of surprised me. But I will find something that works. Only "22" 195 SR's ??? wow that isn't too many, is it because the company went out?

Sunline introduced that model toward the end. I do not know the build date of the prototype (the guy at Butler never got back to me), but I do know the majority of the 195's were built in late October / early November 2006, and Sunline closed 11/10/06. So they just didn't have enough time to make very many in addition to the other orders they had to fill.

If only they came out with it six months earlier, they might have been able to save the company.

Hi,
I just checked my battery operated clockworks that I bought for another clock in the house and it fits in the holder in my camper. My suggestion, measure the clockworks and find one at a hobby store and simply replace it. That way you keep the original clock. Cost was about $6.00 for the one I have.

Welcome 1st Timer

Hello Irishcamper. Welcome to the Sunline Forum. It's a great site used by great people. As Sunline Fan mentioned, check out the 2008 Eastern M&G in Mexico, PA. It's going to be our first time. We're really looking forward to it. Hope you can join us.

Hello Lewisburg, just down the road from you here in Norry. We do all our camping at RB Winter SP. When is that 2008 show in Mexico, PA? Stupid question but that has nothing to do with Little Mexico campground in Winfield? Thanks for the welcome, I have owned a Sunline for many years now and never knew this site existed, well I'm here for good now as I am glad to be a part of the group. Boy I would like to have a 195SR though.
:))). We'll have to meet at The Fence for a fish sandwich. Thanks again.

Hi Dave,

Glad you "stumbled" upon our group. Yes, do check out the Rally that will be held in June at Buttonwood Campground, Mexico, PA.

Now to the clock issue. I have an '06 T-2499 and that factory issue clock was a noisy bugger, very loud tick every second. I replaced mine with an atomic digital one that I purchased in WalMart. Cost was about 20 bux, No, it's not original, but it's QUIET :) It has a burnished finish like the original one, all I had to do was remove the plastic mounting plate from the original clock, and replace the screw to hang the new clock.
