Just purchased a t2990 and I have scoured the interwebs and cannot find any manuals or technical specs anywhere (including the file section here) on my model. Why??? Is this a rare camper or what's going on that it's such a mysterious model to find info on? Help!

Hi Lvarites,

Welcome to Sunline Owners Club and congrats on your new camper!

I checked in the 1995 brochures in our files section and the T-2990 shows up there.

Look on the top of the forum for a tab called "FILES", click it. Then go to "Sunline Brochures". Then scroll to 1995 and download the 95 brochure. The T-2990 is listed there.

The 95 T-2990 is a 29' 11" long camper, ball to rear bumper 8ft wide camper. It has a 7,000# GVWR and weighs approx 4,780# empty with no options installed.

The floor plan has a front bedroom, mid kitchen and has the largest ever monster size bathroom in the back. WOW, I have never seen a floor plan like this one with a bath that big in the mid sized campers. Nice camper. Learned something new here today on SOC!

For a manual, see this post for help on how to down load a manual. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f111/looking-for-a-manual-12805.html

Hope this helps and for anything else you need help with, just ask we are glad to help.
This is the place for Sunline info.

Happy camping this year.

Hi John. Thanks for the tip, unfortunately I already came across the spec sheet/ brochure. I am actually in need of an owners manual on all of the technical aspects and such. I cannot seem to get anywhere. This must be a very rare model ::::sigh::::

Hi Again,

I will try and explain better as the manual is not like what you would get for say, your car. You really cannot search the internet for a complete Sunline manual on most any floor plan that I am aware of. It is not that your camper is rare, it is that they do not exist in that fashion. But you can assemble a manual with our forums help.

Sunline created a manual made from both generic and specific contents for each camper. This is more of a 3 ring binder with a front word processor type of document on good general (generic) knowledge about the camper. This section fit every camper in that model year and many times other model years until this part changed.

The second part of the manual was cut sheets on owners manuals of all the appliances specific to the models that were installed in 1995 and to your camper. This would include the fridge, the roof AC unit, the outside awning, the toilet, the hot water heater, the stove the furnace , the axles and brakes, the roof antenna and some other useful information for components built by other manufactures.

If you had a 1995 camper, most any 1995 camper would have the same manual unless you had a slide camper then there would be a few cut sheets added for the slide system. And odds are high, that same 95 manual also covered a lot of other years if nothing changed in the way the camper was made.

Sunline did not create a specific floor plan model number manual each specific to the floor plan. More of the one size fits all approach.

In our files area under "Sunline Owners Manuals" we have 4 of the word processor generic parts of the manual over the years copied by club members and then uploaded to share. For your 1995 camper this manual part I have linked below may be the closest we have. (see the 2 links) The information is still good and appreciable to your camper. There may be a few items that are upgraded since 95 but not many.

Sunline Coach Owner's Club - Sunline Owner's Files - 2005 Sunline Owners Booklet

Or this one Sunline Coach Owner's Club - Sunline Owner's Files - 2003 Solaris T2499 manual

Until we can get another club member with a 95 camper or mid 90's era to scan and upload theirs, we do not have any years closer.

For the appliance part of the manual, like the fridge or the range, microwave etc, here you need find the model number of each unit in your camper. In the Files section we do have many of the owners manuals for some of the systems already up loaded. For example for the furnace and the roof AC unit, look in the Sunline Heating and Cooling section in the files section. If your model number shows up in that section, then download the owners manual for your model.

If your model does not show up, then you can do a web search as most all the manufactures are still in business and their owners manuals are on line.

For example, if you have a Dometic RM 2652 fridge. Then doing a google search for "Dometic RM 2652 owners manual" brings up this web hit from Bryant RV http://bryantrv.com/docs2/docs/operating/2652operation.pdf

And you keep building your new 3 ring binder with all the appliances like that. We do have a lot of these already on fridges in the "Sunline Kitchen" folder.

Yes, this is a lot of work but it is good once you are done. Those manuals are golden when you get one with a camper.

If you get stuck and need help on finding some item, post the brand name and model and we will see if we can help you search too.

Hope this helps.

John
