Hi everyone, I have a Sunline Saturn from 1989. it's in pretty good shape but the decals are so worn out. what are some thoughts on painting the travel trailers? Thanks in advance.

It certainly can be done, dad painted their aging (at the time) 1971 Terry 18ft years ago. I forget if he used oil or latex (I can ask if you'd like), but it held up pretty well. Personally, I tend to like seeing things in their original colors, but I understand what you mean, we have an 89 Sunline too (and even live in VA too!) and the stickers are getting pretty faded, especially on the front that faces generally south where it is parked. I would love to put new decals on it if they could be purchased, but I imagine even if Sunline were still in business, they probably wouldn't still carry such old ones.

I'm not brand conscious Sunline made nice campers no doubt but I felt no need to advertise it. It's your easel make it yours. There is a gadget that fits in a electric drill called "magic eraser" they work pretty well to remove old decals.
