Responding to questions:

The tongue weight is about 600 lbs., within prescribed range.
Not using any W.D. devises as I am towing with a 1 ton Dodge ram dually.
( we generally don't even know we are towing a trailer...

BEWARE OF METAL FATIGUE ON HITCH FRAME RAILS !!!!
Upon returning from a weekend camping trip I noticed that the main channel beams that secure the hitch to my 2007 T-257SR trailer had sheared...
