As you can see I now have much better access to the water system despite the door being partially blocked. The red strap on the water heater is a Velcro strap to replace the plastic heat fused strap...

Ok..so I started the hatch project and I have a 13 x 32 hatch needing a 10-3/4 x 30 rough opening.
