Sunline would not of used worm gear clamps and what looks like duct tape on a braided line like that. Something is altered.

It is not normal to splice in those stainless steel...

Is this the hose up from the bottom into the base of the faucet?

Unless something was special about the Que or the prior owner redid something, Sunline used PEX fittings with copper crimps rings...
