It has a shiny but eggshell feel to it but I think you should be fine painting it. You may want to put a Kilz primer on it first though.

Well John,

That is a good feeling knowing that the prepasted glue has lasted that long. On the Shasta, I used border glue so hopefully this new stuff is even better. We shall see.
