It doesn't surprise me that there were more after...

It doesn't surprise me that there were more after ours, or that they were 276s since they ran in batches. I know my dealer had orders for other models at the same time as ours that did not get made....

Only thing I can think of is they started to run the e-brake line to the battery, and then cut it and tied it into the hot side of the cut off switch instead.

Popped the box cover and the wire was capped...

Popped the box cover and the wire was capped off!! Don't have any idea what it might have been for. I removed it, electrician in me doesn't like hot capped wires!!!!

The e-brake wire does go to the "hot" post of the switch. My junction box is on the header right next the switch and the e-brake wire goes under the box to the switch, there's another wire...

My switch was factory installed and I'm pretty sure my break away is tied directly to the battery. I'll have to check to be sure, but I'm almost positive it's on the battery not the switch....
