Thanks for the help. Now that I know it's called a "socket" it's been much easier to search. Unfortunately, while some web sites have it for less than $2, shipping is around $10.

Our OEM entry door holder--plunger and rubber stopper--is very tired. I actually like this one hand style, but have not been able to find a direct replacement to screw into the same holes. Of course...
