I can see breaking positive on household light switch because contacting center of a live light socket could zap you good because you could become the ground

The only problem with one of those is Everytime you want to disconnect you have to open your battery box and it's probably strapped down so you be undoing strap all the time. Where one mounted...

Not only the radio but the propane leak detector plus there are probably other ghost usages. I installed a battery disconnect switch which is easy to flip when not in use
