Our hot water tank always contains a spectacular quantity of sediment. Flushing in the spring is well worth it given the quantity of stuff that comes out of it.

Is this a kit with a valve on it? Can you blow...

Is this a kit with a valve on it? Can you blow air through the valve with your mouth when disconnected?

I have the kit, but I have never installed the valve, I just unscrew the pump from the water...
