Ok the little red light never came, not that it mattered. Hooked up my gps to it and that red light never came on to say it was working, i didn't take the back off it yet, i'll do that today.

Can this be used like a cigarette lighter socket, as in i have something that you plug into a cigarette lighter socket and it runs. I plugged it into the socket above the sink but did not run? How...
