Those vents are not cheap but the frame on that thing looks to be in good shape and maybe salvageable. One of the best tools for that project is a multi tool with a scraper blade.

It should have a steering lock. No one carries a distributer rotor with them better than a key. It's easy to make the engine run on 3 cylinders with a plug wire.
