You do get what you pay for. The better ones not only are designed to be surge suppressors they are designed to take a physical beating. I do think they may be over priced for what really is inside...

Here is why it's a good ideal in camp grounds. Most camp grounds have 100 amp sub panels and that only gives you enough power for 3 30 amp outlets. Now this stuff is expensive so there are maybe 5 30...
