think it must be the howling winds. They don't blow gently out here on the high plains :eek:

Pilot lights as usual, but despite holding button in w/ pilot burning for requisite 5, (or many more seconds) when knob is turned to desired temp setting pilot goes out w/o oven igniting. Stove top...
