They do make single bike racks. Never thought about aluminum but that’s a good idea too.

I only have one bike and a long bed. I assume they make one bike racks. I am a full time RVer so I use my truck bed for storage probably more than a vacationer RVer

Apparently the rear bumper on my 1950 isn’t capable of having the extra weight along with the spare tire
