Thanks for your reply. So the 2/3 thirds space taken up by the outside storage would not provide any clear space because there would be no way to cover it up with a floor, nothing to nail a sub-floor...

I am thinking of taking out the gaucho couch to make room for a desk and small chair in my T-1950. (I will keep it the couch)

The outside storage goes under the couch and also I think...
