I purchased one from my local Ace hardware, installed it and now I have outside electric sockets! YEAH! :mrgreen:

The outside outlet is wired to the kitchen according to diagram I downloaded from here... So ya think that the GFI has a short or something...and that's why it tripped but now it's ok? If I need to...

Thanks...Yup...that is my next step...like you say the outlet would not work either and it does...So logical place to go from there....I am going to unplug and turn off the battery switch and unscrew...

I checked both, kitchen and vanity...the bathroom...

I checked both, kitchen and vanity...the bathroom was tripped so I reset..I reset the kitchen just to do it, plugged lamp into both and they worked However the outside sockets still do NOT work :cry:...
