My point was-----you might want to check the cable also. That was my problem for no reception. If there is corrosion or a break, you will get crappy reception.

The King Jack comes with a 12 volt adapter. The roof antenna plugs into it and another cord (attached to the plug ) plugs into the TV. Comes with full directions and not at all complicated to hook...

I had that problem until I replaced the whole antenna with a (King Jack). Many, many more channels now. I tried the Wingman with no luck.
