Any idea what this little gizmo is sticking up out of the starboard (right) side of my roof over the kitchen area?
I think it is a roof mounted television antenna wire. Perhaps inside your unit on the wall or mounted in a cabinet you have a plastic two prong female receiver attached to that "protuberance." Mine has a male two pin plug that attached to the tv that I could plug and unplug into the female receiver when I stored it for travel.
Is that a circle of sealed screw holes near the wire (in the pic.) That would be were the antenna base attached. Further toward the back of the unit there might be another set of sealed screw holes where the antenna rest was mounted (when in the travel position.)
In the ceiling directly below that protuberance there would have been a shaft and crank for raising and directing the antenna. There might be a single hole there about 1/4 inch round.
