Best Fried Seafood in New England?

OK. Last year we stayed at Salisbury Beach State Reservation in MA on a whim because Hampton Beach State Park In NH was totally booked on our way back from Bar Harbor and the race at Loudon.

I was in the mood for fried clams and we were directed to The Clam Box in Ipswich, MA, which was well worth the short drive from the campground. Sue had the fried scallops and said they were the best she ever had.

Is there anything better?

Honda03842 is an unknown quantity at this point
There are definitely a lot of good fried food places in New England. We do find the Clam Box to be excellent.

There's also a good place south from Hampton Beach State Park, just across the bridge from the park that many people drive right by.

Ceals has been there for almost 50 years in a little white/red trimmed building. It's old NE take out fried food, mostly known to locals. Their clams and scallops are also great and walking distance from the Hampton Beach State Park.
