First trip with the 1750!

Hey all. We are in wells Maine this long weekend with some friends. Thought I’d share a pic of the 1750’s first trip (since restoration). IMG_4118.jpg

That is where your camper needs to be, out camping!

Looking good, thanks for sharing.

Glad to report we had a lovely weekend in Maine with the sunny! Everything worked great and we couldn’t be happier with it. It’s a perfect little love shack for me and the wife. I’ll keep the Motorhome going at least for a few more years til my daughter becomes a teenager and wants nothing to do with us, then I’ll retire it and keep the Sunline.

Looking great. Those stripes look familiar. I like the awning.

I didn't notice there are no hub caps until you mentioned it in the other thread.

I would like an awning. It would be pretty short length wise though. Ha ha.

We have camped on Lake Umbagog National Nature refuge in N.H. and on Conway Lake in a tent though. I miss hearing the Loons.

I live in the northeast (cape cod, Ma) so Vermont New Hampshire and Maine are all easy access. We camp up north at least once a year. We’ve done Fryeburg fair a couple times, Conway area (mt Washington tent camping) and various other campsites. It’s beautiful this time of year with the foliage. I’d like to take a southerly route sometime and see Nashville , maybe do an easy trip to Pennsylvania. More things are possible with an old trailer than with an old Motorhome. Besides the 6 miles per gallon the old Titan gets, (440/727) I’d hate to break down somewhere. Parts are getting harder to find and the tow bill would be astronomical.
