Hi Dig,

Excellent job on the black tank sprayer install and great pictures - thanks for sharing.

FYI - I've also installed tank sprayers in the gray tanks also. I've found that in the gray tank it helps keep the sensors clean. I've used the Tornado Flush kits.

I also agree with JohnB wrt using the fence post holder in front of the wheels and his reasons why. I use a fence post holder, set it up so I could gain access from either end.

Just a heads up.
Watch your rear drag bars where you have the tank sprayer input mounted.
On our Sunline T-2670 we had problems with the rear dragging at points and the drag bars eventually bent. I ended up cut them off and installed skid wheels.
Harbor Freight as various casters that could be used.
Your T-1950 is a little shorter then our T-2670, so you may not have problems with the rear end dragging.

Good luck.

Roger that. The hose is in the bumper and the Ziplock bag is standing by, ready for doody. I mean duty. Yeah. That's it...duty.

We just got back from camping at Frontier Town and the water hook up sprayed water out as hard as a power washer.

I also bought a Rubbermaid container for my sewer hose. It has snap open, and close, vents in the cover that you can put a dryer sheet in to mask any, less than pleasant, odors. Fits perfectly into my rear compartment without taking up much space.

Will do, Karen! And a brand spankin' new lead free ( I guess) brass w.p. regulator is stored with the rest of the water gear. I'm a little miffed because I ordered a two pack of Camco water filters from Amazon, not realizing that I needed the little support hose which was NOT INCLUDED! I had to got to WalMart and get the $18 kit with a single filter and the hose so I now have a 3 year supply of water filters on hand. I hope it turns out that I like camping in a TT!

I plan on doing the same with the gray tank before next season but I'm bleeding cash and out of time, for now.

My 1950 had an axle flip performed by one of the P.O.'s and the hitch was set up as close to level as we could but there is a slight downhill attitude which should also help with clearance. After reading some of the threads linked above, I'll be mindful of potential dangers and take it slowly over the bumps and through the dips, Thanks for the heads up.

Here's a couple of preliminary shots. I forgot to tighten the nut on the sway control bar on the hitch so I lost it and the locknut on the otherwise uneventful trip out. Sway control was still good, though. A hardware store a couple of miles away took care of that little error.

I'm told there's a Sunline with a slide on the other side of the resort. I'll get a pic up later.

Looks like I burned up the water heater. I thought there was water in it but apparently not. Now that the tank is full, no hot water.

No hot water on electric, propane, or both? Does it light on propane? Do you have the bypass valve still on? If so, you will get cold water out of the hot tap and will not fill the HW heater.

I haven't tried it on the propane yet. Tomorrow is another day so I'll try it then.

Meanwhile, I'll put this in the sunline sighting thread when I get back but it can go here for now. This was on the other side of the park. The people weren't around, so we couldn't introduce ourselves.

W. Heater is a cheap easy fix... You may come to like that Canadian switch, sure makes it easy to turn it on/off. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay!

If you do have to replace the HW heater, check out the new "tankless" system. Somewhat pricey, but it provides unlimited hot water, like the house systems do. Only runs on propane though. Also, for your current HW heater, make sure all the switches and breakers are on for electric hot water.

I'm in Scarlett O'Hara mode about the water heater. I'll worry about that tomorrow.

Here's a couple of night shots. Dead calm and the awning is staked out.

Hi Dig,

Your camper looks great in the CG!

First and foremost, have fun. Don't sweat the HW heater, the elements are not that expensive. (I think less the $20 out of Home Depot, Lowes or Menard's). It happens and has happened to others. A trick that has been learned, when the HW is drained, always turn off the dedicated 15 amp breaker for the HW heater. This way an accidental flip of the wall switch on does not toast the element. I know in this case you did not realize the bypass valve may not have been in normal mode, but you are past that now. You can fix it at home. If the gas will not light up, let us know, we can give some pointers.

On your Sunline sighting, that looks like a 2002 to 2003 T-260SR. The decals fit the 2002 - 2003 but I'm thinking a 2002 as it has black window trim, they went to white in 2003 and the gold top stripe. H'mm, but the gold strip was a 2003 thing. Maybe a real early build 2003. Rear bath, mid kitchen, front bedroom, 2 doors and the super slide and still had the range hood vent to the outside. A popular floor plan. If that is it, the next generation turned in the T-264SR in 2004.

Your doing great!!! You and the family have a great time.

Thanks

John

We have ignition! The propane range, furnace, refrigerator and most importantly, water heater, are all functional!
