King's Hawaiian mini sandwiches

You know the ones. 24 sweet dinner rolls in a package.

Before you hit the road...
  • Open the package and remove the box containing the rolls from the plastic. Set the plastic and keeper lock aside.
  • Remove the rolls from the box and place on the countertop. Do not separate them. Set the box aside.
  • Slice the entire pack of 24 in half with a bread knife and remove the top layer.
  • Slather on your favorite sandwich spread.
  • Place cheese on the roll bottoms. Butt the edges until all rolls are covered.
  • Place lunch meat on the cheese, again, butting the edges until everything is covered. Pile to desired height.
  • Add sliced tomatoes, butted as best you can.
  • Add spices/condiments to the top of the stacks.
  • Put the roll tops back on and place the entire unit back into the box.
  • Now slice the rolls into individual servings. Cut through the lunch meat, cheese, etc.
  • Put the plastic bag back over the box and put the keeper lock back on the end.
  • Keep package cool until you arrive at the campsite.
  • Open the bag and slide out the box to the first row or two of mini sandwiches and nosh on bite sized sammiches while you set up camp!

JohnB is on a distinguished road
We do not have that brand of dinner rolls out our way, but I get the "how to" on the brand we have...

Neat idea. Thanks
