No we didn't, but when we went to Hawaii I saw a number of state and county parks that offered camping at some of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. I did some research when I returned and found some places that offered renting of camping equipment to take advantage of these parks. This site with the VW's also came up. They must have jumped around though. Originally they were in the Big Island, now I see they are in Oahu. Every once and while I click on their site to dream a bit, only to find they have changed domains. So I just update it to dream a little more!
