Cindy and I are camped out in the desert of Death Valley, and the temperature reaches 117 degrees

We drove to the nearest town, Pahrump Nevada, and found a campground that had full hook-ups so we could run the A/C.
We stayed here for 3 days and I dont think our A/C unit ever shut off. We only had it set on 80 degrees. Camping in the desert isnt always fun.
The Preferred RV Park is very nice and was a nice little retreat from boondocking. The town of Pahrump is full service has everything you'd need to restock your supplies and even has a few casinos if you want to give your money to the Nevada government.
The park itself has a bit of everything. Pull-thru sites, full hook-ups, pool, lounge, laundry and gated entrance with 24 hour security.
If passing thru Nevada, on your way too or from Death Valley, this campground is a nice little stop off. They did accept Passport America, so it made the cost affordable for us to stay at.
