SevenPoints CG TN

We got to Seven Points COE CG this past week. This is a really nice CG with heavily wooded shady sites, some on the lake itself. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The park itself was clean and quiet. It's close to shopping and Nashville itself. Here are a few pics.

These little guys came for a visit. We gave them some crackers. There was a place to launch your boat as well as a place to swim.

There were people in tents as well as huge motorhomes. Sites were large and deep. More than enough room for anyone.

Our setup for the 2 days. The view of the lake couldn't be beat. A couple stopped to tell us they had had a camper just like ours and loved it.

Just another view of the site.

A path through the CG.

We plan to staying here again. It would be a good place to stay for a night if you're passing through, or if you plan to visit Nashville.

Seven Points..

We stayed there ten years ago and loved it--you do know it is 50% off for seniors and disabled??? Make sure you go into the Opryland hotel there in Nashville for a view of how the "other half" camps....lol! Janalee

The other half

We are the other half and I can't imagine a better life, only a longer life.

Sometimes I hesitate to tell people how good my life is fearing that everyone will take to the road.

This looks like a great place.

Looks like I need to come up to camp in Tennessee more often...

Yes we know about the discount but despite what you see online, the closest place we can get one of those passports for Seniors is Land Between the Lakes, 90 miles away. When we get back from Buttonwood and Cooperstown NY, we plan to camp there next and get the senior pass there. They wouldn't give us a discount without it. We've been to Opryland several times and smelled the $$$$$. We've also been to Opry Mills Mall. Quite a place!

Only 2 campgrounds here in TN have been disappointments. One was so bad we decided not to camp there. The rest were wonderful and we enjoyed every minute camping in them.

Worse yet they'll clog up our favorite campgrounds! They'll take all the good spots. Oh good grief. Tell them your life is the pits, that camping stinks.....

The driveway ran along the top of the site. We just backed it in, opened the door... and there we were.
