FL - Ste. Lucie Locks

This campground is one maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers, and it is beautiful! It is right along the canal, so that you get to watch the boats cruise up & down the canal, and go through the locks. When we were there, 2 different groups of sculling teams were there from NS, practising for different races.

When we were there in 2008, the rates were $24 with water & electric.

Wendy and I stayed at this campground in May 2009. I have to agree that it is very nice. The sites are on concrete pads with water and electric. Wish we were there today. Happy Camping
