Campground Web Site

First Visit or Return Visit: Return Visit, but it looks like a totally different park. Now, most lots have been sold and are fully landscaped.
Your Rating (1 Low – 5 High): 5

Campground Facilities Information:
Number & Type of Sites (PT / Back-In): Back In and Pull In
Hook-Ups (# with WES / WE / E /None): All have WES
Credit Cards Accepted (VISA, MC, Disc, None): Visa, MC, Discover
Discounts Accepted: Yes, only in the off season (Good Sam, FMCA)
Interior Roads: Paved, VG Condition
Level Sites (Yes/No; rating: 1 low – 3 high): Yes, 3
Wide/Open Sites (Yes/No; rating: 1 low – 3 high): Yes, 3
Restroom Cleanliness (1 low – 3 high): Don't know, I didn't go in them
Store (Yes/No; rating: 1 low – 3 high): Did not see a store, but they have a tiki bar with food and drinks by the pool. Didn't eat there though. They also have apparel available through the tiki bar, but no camp supplies that I know of.
Game Room (Yes/No; rating: 1 low – 3 high): ?
Pool (Yes/No; Heated/Not Heated; Clean, rating: 1 low – 3 high): Yes, Heated, looked clean and very busy. Never went in it.

Campground Impressions:
Kid Friendly (Yes/No - Activities): They don't discriminate against them like they do at another unnamed certain park, but it is generally a snowbird park at this time of year. There are activities (see website), but they aren't kid activities.
People Friendly (Yes/No): Yes, all neighbors said hi all the time and were very friendly.
WiFi Friendly (Yes/No; - Charge?/Service Provider?): Yes, they have it, but I wouldn't call it friendly. They give you an access code and it's only good for one computer, so you'll have to go see the office if you have a second computer.
Cell Phone Coverage (Yes/No - Service Provider?): Yes, with Cingular/ATT anyway.
Pet Friendly (Yes/No): Yes, up to two (2) pets are allowed. The website also says certain sites are pet friendly, but I don't know which ones are.

Personal Comments:

The campground does allow trailers to come in. Every unit must be 26'+ and 10 years old or newer, unless the management pre-approves it.

The main reason we stay here is because it's only three miles away from the Grandparents house, so we really don't get to participate in any of the activities or use the facilities. In the winter, this place is really snowbird country with many people from MI there.

The campground is very centrally located, being about 3 miles from the hospital and just next door to a lot of restaurants. There's a Hotel next to the entrance and a Perkins just down the street. Just on the other side of the hotel is the shuttle to take you to Ft. Myers Beach, which many lot owners and renters use often. It's quite cheap and you don't have to worry about parking at the beach.
