Personal Comments:
If you want to stay within Yellowstone with full hook-ups this is the only campground. I lot of people complain it’s like a parking lot. You can see from the site picture that the sites are small and tight. But since we spent most of the day touring Yellowstone NP and were only at the campground to eat and sleep, the small and tight sites didn’t bother us and we liked having the convenience of the full hook-ups.

There are nicer private campgrounds out side the park that have all the amenities, but then you have the additional travel time. People from the east, on their first visit, may not anticipate the vastness of the park and the driving time required just to tour it. It took 1+ hour to drive to the different areas of the park from Fishing Bridge, which was centrally located within the park.

There are other campground, with no or limited hook-ups, that have larger sites and are not as tight. I have not stayed at any of these campgrounds, but may be nicer than Fishing Bridge if you anticipate spending more time at your campsite.

If and when we visit Yellowstone again, I would definitely stay at Fishing Bridge again. Though I may consider moving around and experiencing some of the other campgrounds within the park.

Agree with all of the above. Except the roads had super large pot holes when we were there 9/2017. We had an end site with no one behind us, so really lucked out in that regard. Still, not a place you do much besides eat and sleep. Laundry room is really big and nice.
