Sharon Springs New York Campground Recomendadions

We are planning to attend the Fall Harvest Festival in Sharon Springs New York next weekend. Any campground recommendations for that area? Thanks.

Yes ! Hartwick Highlands Campground, a few miles south of Cooperstown (so 25 miles or so from Sharon Springs)

Hartwick Highlands Campground - Newest & Closest Campground to Cooperstown & Dreams Park

We stayed there one night as we'd read a good review about it. Very nice, clean. Cooperstown has a lot to see and we love the area.

Hartwick Highlands and others in Cooperstown area are reviewed here:

RV Park Reviews :: Cooperstown, New York ( NY ) - RV Parks and Campground Reviews

This is an older thread that mentions other parks in that area.

Maybe some of our Sunline members from that area will recommend other parks closer to Sharon Springs, but we have only stayed at Hartwick Highlands.

Have fun !

Deb

We just got back from Shadow Brook Campground. A full service park very well kept, clean and friendly owners. It's south of East Springfield on County rt 31 about 1 mile from rt 20. It's a straight drive down 31 to Cooperstown in 15 minutes,

Game room, lounge, large pond, store, most sites with power and water and many with sewer. We loved our stay there.

It's rare we have hookups. Our breadbox turned into a microwave.

We topped off the long weekend stopping at Howe's Caverns on the way home.
