Level Sites: Yes, nice and level, some are tight, safari is extremely tight

Pool: Yes, Three outdoor, one indoor, Sauna, and Jacuzzi

Campground Impressions: Not our style at all. Very pricy for the level of site we had, but a nice place. Definitely aimed more toward people with more money than desire for peaceful, quiet areas. Safari sites offer shared electric, with one 50 amp, one 30 amp, and 2 15 amp plugs per pole, each pole serves 2 or more sites.

Our neighbors had to move, the people down the hill and behind us (Safari 16) decided that they wanted to use the 30 amp plug (didn't have a 50 amp extension) for their class A- that they pulled in face-first. Their 50 amp cord would have been sufficient had they backed in, but they chose not to. The folks next to us needed the 30 amp to run their slideout and their microwave to cook the kids' dinner, and the fellow behind refused to turn his bus around or to use the 50 amp. This drama lasted for well over an hour and a half, disrupting our dinner (we let them use our microwave to get the kids fed)- and the attitudes of the fellow and his wife were well above the mediation skills of the employees. The employees were willing to let the people next to us use a 50amp to 30 amp conversion they were willing to jerry-rig, but only if they signed a waiver. Our neighbors removed their camper, and were not seen again...

This campground offers a lot of "fluff" but not much substance. Yes, there's a lot to do, but the cost is so high that it's really only worth it if it is your family's one trip for the year.

There is a fantastic state forest (F. Gilbert Hills) across the street, which offers miles of hiking and biking, and there are several geocaches (many are really challenging) to try to find. One of my favorite area parks to mountain bike.

Kid Friendly: Yes, lets of activities on and off the grounds

People Friendly: yes

WiFi Friendly: Yes, free

Cell Phone Coverage: yes, both Sprint and Verizon, plus others. This is a well populated, suburban area local to Boston, MA and Providence, RI.

Pet Friendly: Yes, providing they are well behaved, Special Dog Park and dog walk areas. Dogs must be leashed at all times, except in the dog park. They must never be left unattended (per park rules). No pets for guests, and no pets in their rental units.

Personal Comments:
A busy, well kept park. Not to our liking, but it's easy to see why they are so highly rated. Not too relaxing, especially over the holiday weekend we were there. Too many "Massholes" in the park, being their usual selves.

Some strange, strict rules: campfires only allowed 6 pm to midnight 5/1 to 9/30, from 12 pm to midnight 10/1 to 4/30. Quiet hours are somewhat strictly enforced, but there were the usual rowdy folks there when we were. Quiet hours are 11pm - 8 am. No clothes lines, even on your coach.

Checkin- 3 pm, possibly earlier if you call. "Speedy" checkin available if you've been here before (must ask for it).

Checkout- 2 pm

It was interesting to visit this place, especially as it is less than 4 miles from the storage lot where our Sunny sleeps- but I don't think I would ever go back again, just not enough value for the dollar, especially stuck out in Safari for the full rate. We made this stay based on the fact that so many people had asked us if we had been there, so now we can say we have. I think I like the smaller, less pretentious places far better.

If you do decide to come here, PM me, we'll perhaps meet up!
